Chamber of Young Snow and The University of Hong Kong Libraries will present the exhibition “Dreamlike Dunhuang: Recreating the Grandeur of Dunhuang” from 7 June to 9 September 2025. The opening ceremony and public lecture will take place on 7 June. The event will feature an inspiring opening, followed by a lecture with Dr. Shengliang Zhao, Academic Committee Chair at Dunhuang Academy, and the founder of Chamber of Young Snow. Together, they will discuss the historical and cultural significance of the exhibits, offering insights into the value of Dunhuang art and exploring the mysteries of “Boundless Pure Land: Exploring Buddhist Philosophy and Aesthetics in Dunhuang”. The lecture will reveal how Buddhist art transcends time and space, inspiring modern reflections on life and aesthetics.
