Chamber of Young Snow congratulates the success of the Heng Seng University President Dialogue Series!

The event on ‘Abhidharmakośabhāṣya’ 《阿毘達磨俱舍論》at Hong Kong Heng Seng University received enthusiastic responses both online and offline! It was a complete success!

This time, the President Dialogue Series at Hong Kong Heng Seng University was honored to invite Venerable Professor K L Dhammajoti, Dr. Sun Hanming, and Dr. Huo Heqiwa as guest speakers to share their insights on《阿毘達磨俱舍論》 ‘Abhidharmakośabhāṣya’ (commonly referred to as ‘Koshashastra’).

The evening party was performed by teachers and students from the School of Music and the School of Dance of Minzu University of China. It brings together the most representative ethnic music and dances of the Mongolian, Uyghur, Tibetan, Yi, Dai, Ewenki, Oroqen and other ethnic groups, and will lead the audience on an authentic journey of Chinese ethnic minority art to experience diversity and unity cultural charm.

The porcelain collection of Chamber of Young Snow spans the Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties, with each piece exhibiting distinctive characteristics of its era and having a well-documented provenance. For instance, the ‘Song Longquan kiln celadon lotus petal covered bowl’〈宋 龍泉窯青釉蓮瓣蓋碗〉 was released by Sotheby’s in London as early as 1960 and has since become a treasured item in the Chamber of Young Snow’s collection.
