About Chamber of Young Snow
Chamber of Young Snow (少雪齋) is a non-governmental organization (NGO) founded by Dr. Lee Si Seng (李師成博士) in 2016, aimed at promoting cultural exchange between China and the West. Dr. Lee has a passion for Chinese art and culture, and he facilitates public participation in Hong Kong through a variety of activities such as exhibitions, workshops, lectures, and performances. Chamber of Young Snow not only collects Chinese artworks but also supports several prestigious institutions, promoting cultural research and education, with a particular focus on the development of young people, encouraging them to explore the diversity of cultural arts.

The porcelain collection of Chamber of Young Snow spans the Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties, with each piece exhibiting distinctive characteristics of its era and having a well-documented provenance. For instance, the ‘Song Longquan kiln celadon lotus petal covered bowl’〈宋 龍泉窯青釉蓮瓣蓋碗〉 was released by Sotheby’s in London as early as 1960 and has since become a treasured item in the Chamber of Young Snow’s collection.
