“Arts Without Borders Opera Night,” organized by the Chamber of Young Snow, was successfully held on October 7, the day after the Mid-Autumn Festival, at the Grand Theatre of the Xiqu Centre in the West Kowloon Cultural District. The event brought together Cantonese opera enthusiasts for a reunion, with the performance completely sold out and receiving an enthusiastic response. The show featured many renowned local Cantonese opera masters and emerging talents, who presented a series of classic pieces. Not only did it promote traditional Chinese opera culture, but it also facilitated cultural exchange between Eastern and Western arts, providing the audience with an unforgettable opera experience.
As a non-governmental organization, the Chamber of Young Snow has long been dedicated to promoting cultural exchange between the East and the West. Earlier, in collaboration with the University of Hong Kong Libraries, it organized the Chamber of Young Snow Cultural Festival—”Dreams of Dunhuang: Recreating the Magnificence of Dunhuang” exhibition, which was met with great enthusiasm.
